Windsor Arm Chair

Sack Back Windsor Chair

Of all Windsor chairs, the “Sack Back” is by far the design most people associate with Windsor chairs. Produced in Philadelphia after 1760, chair makers exported large quantities throughout the Colonies. Benjamin Franklin sat in one while debating the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

This chair has a large oval seat made of 2" thick pine. The arm rail and curved back are all native red oak. The legs and spindles are maple. A very generous chair, you will find it to be an elegant and comfortable piece of history.

Price: $850     Rocking Chair Version: $995
